Actor, Writer, Producer
Dee Dee Flores was born and raised in Chicago, IL, until frigid winters drove her west.  Aside from her love of wildlife and underwater photography, Dee Dee is a multi-talented actress and comedienne.  As an “out” trans actress she has seen the roles for trans women be few and far between.
With Trans Sister Tales she takes on the Hollywood machine by proving that trans women have a voice worth hearing.  Whether she’s dancing, singing, doing impressions or acting, Dee Dee brings a unique and vital commitment to changing the world.  Her role in The Dying Gaul proved that a trans performer can, in fact, play a transgender character.
In 2004 she took part in the first all transgender performance of The Vagina Monologues in Los Angeles which was turned into a documentary airing on LOGO.  She has other projects in the works that she hopes will further her goal of seeing positive trans role models on television, in film and the mainstream media.
